Trauma work that respects pace, safety, and complexity
Trauma therapy is not about pushing yourself to relive painful experiences before there is enough support and safety. It is about understanding how trauma, PTSD, and relational trauma can shape your body, emotions, relationships, and sense of self.
Mia’s approach is relational, trauma-aware, and attachment-informed. Sessions are paced carefully, with room for uncertainty, ambivalence, and nervous system responses that deserve care rather than pressure.
Trauma therapy may be helpful if you’re:
- feeling emotionally overwhelmed, shut down, or on edge
- carrying the impact of relational trauma or difficult past experiences
- struggling with self-worth, trust, boundaries, or emotional regulation
- noticing trauma responses show up in close relationships
- trying to move toward more stability without forcing yourself too fast
Sessions are available in person in Toronto and virtually across Ontario.
